Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck are three triplet ducklings. They are brothers and they are also completely identical to each other, not only physicall, but also mentally; they are so similar that they often say the exact same thing at the exact same time.
The three ducklings, who are Donald's nephews, were first sent to their "Unca Donald"'s in 1937 by their mother Della Duck, because they had stupidly made a firecracker explode under their father's armchair. After a few weeks, they were sent back to Della by Donald who found them perfectly unbearable, to good reasons. However, he got them back one year later, and for good, when Della (an astronaut) left for a looong… veeeerrrrryyyy looongggggg trip in space. They lived with Donald ever since, and got much nicer when they joined the Junior Woodchucks scoutism organization in 1951. In 1987, Donald joined the navy for two years, leaving the triplets to live with their uncle Scrooge; they lived many more adventures with him, told in the series DuckTales.
- They first appeared in 1937 in Donald's nephews.
