Old Scotty McDuck was an anthropomorphic duck from the Duck Universe.
Description[]
This severe-looking bearded Scotsman was Scrooge McDuck's great-grandfather. Other than his temperment and his appearance, few things are known about him: he married an unknown lady whose family named was De Pantaloni, and had at least three sons: "Titus" "Dingus" "Skrooge" McDuck, Quagmire McDuck and William McDuck.

- He first appeared in 1990 in The Duck family tree.
Genealogy[]
The original family tree in which he appears obviously shows him as something like Scrooge's father or grandfather. However, those two places are already taken by separate characters, so he must be at best Scrooge's great-grandfather.
It must be noted that Mark Worden, the drawer of The Duck family tree, obviously took inspiration from Jake McDuck to draw his Old Scotty McDUck.
