It is duck-hunting season. Aimed by Elmer Fudd, Daffy decides to play him a trick: although Elmer missed him, he acts as if he had been shot, mimicking a dramatic fall. He had not previewed, though, that instead of Elmer himself, that would be his bloodhound that would come to get him. He quickly plays the absurd trick of organizing a box contest between Elmer and him, in which he hasn't to worry since the referee is another duck of his friends.
